Who We Are

YRL is a platform created as a response to several consultations and reports that have come out over the years on how to meaningfully engage children and youth in DRR and climate change adaptation. The platform is

• Built to provide children and youth with access to the information they need to take the lead on DRR and CCA.
• Seeks to build and strengthen the capacity of children and youth
• Help them identify and financial support for their initiatives.

What do we do

Create a platform where children and youth learn, share, and accelerate their initiatives toward reducing risk and building resilience using innovative approaches, tools, and methodologies.

• Raise awareness of ongoing children's and youth efforts and promote their participation in addressing DRR and CCA on local, national, regional, and global levels.
• Explore avenues to increase financial support to build the capacities of children and youth in DRR and CCA and scale-up innovative initiatives toward building a resilient world.
• To increase the meaningful engagement of children and youth in DRR and CCA policy discussion and formulation.
